I usually stay away from embedded media. But this clip from the writers of the Daily Show explain the writers strike in clear, uncertain terms.

In the end, the writers will be compensated for writing online content. The big question is how much?
For business owners, when is a strike cost-effective? Viacom is clearly trying to get the writers union to lower their prices. Is it worth the publicity? And at what point does not having new content become a liability for the networks?
This is something I haven’t had to think about and I’m happy for that. Bad labor relations kills your business.
